Superchargers and turbochargers build boost and with boost building and air compression comes heat. Stock cooling systems like the Gen6 ZL1's factory system just don't cut it when it comes to effectively cooling pull after pull. When your intake air temperature (IAT) reaches 140 degrees or so your ECU starts pulling timing (power) from your setup.
The solution? More water.
Synergy's 6th generation Camaro trunk water tank system was designed specifically for your G6 Camaro and includes all parts to get from the trunk to your front wheel well area including the Pierburg CWA400 Pump.
This innovative system not only has a unique space-saving fitment in the trunk to allow for maximum retained trunk space while still getting you 6 - 7 gallons of additional cooling capacity. With a Beckson Marine lid with lid key easily accessible from the trunk for easy filling and a custom mount point on the tank chassis for the included CWA400 Pump, this Camaro water tank system is a complete solution.
This trunk system features a completely unique sump setup, improving water scavenging over the traditional flat tank designs. The tank holds a kiddie-pool sized 6.5 gallons of fluid and features a -10AN drain port. The water tank's drain is designed to stop draining before the sump section to avoid having to prime the water pump each time you ice the system down. Drain kit sold Separately.
Included in this kit is everything necessary (hoses, fittings, brackets, tube-holders, tank, pump, GM body clips etc) to get you to and from the front tire wheel well area.
